GENERAL INFORMATION

Carefully read through and familiarize yourself with the procedures and general information related to the Project Development as Graphic Designer

LAUNCHPAD Project Platform

LAUNCHPAD is our online Development Portal and is accessible from the Website top menu.
When you login with your user details you will get access to a Dashboard where you will see your appointed tasks and get access to the actual Startup Project.

MILESTONES | PHASES | TASKS
The project consists of Milestones, Phases and Tasks that are updated by the developers as they progress through their tasks. The client will be able to track the entire development process.

Please update each task as you progress through the work and indicate the percentage covered at the end of your development session.

When done – mark as complete.

Quality of Service

Launch Your Startup strives to provide its clients with the highest standard of professionalism, products and services.

We expect that all Developers deliver a high standard of work that supercede the expectations of our clients.

Developers that exceed their deadlines or provide a low quality work will receive less or no future work and have their Development Contract terminated.

The Project Manager

The Project Manager of each Startup Project will lead each project and is responsible in making sure that all Developers stay on tract with the development and deliver the highest quality of work. Please contact your Project Developer should you have any questions, issues or recommendations related to the project.

We also request that you provide your full cooperation and assistance to your appointed Project Manager where possible.

Project Starting Date

Please refer to the Project Schedule and Deadlines section.

Each Project will officially start once the client has submitted the Project Development Questionnaire and forms needed for company registration.

We normally allocate 5 to 7 days for the client to submit the questionnaire from the date that you receive your project notification before we will officially start with the Project Development.

Project Questionnaire

In the beginning of the Development Project the client completes and submits an extensive Business Development Questionnaire containing all aspects of his/her business ideas and other information related to development and design aspects of the business.

The Final Development Questionnaire will be made available to all Developers within the Development Project on LAUNCHPAD

Available Design Templates

Launch Your Startup makes use of some commercially purchased development templates. These are available for you to use for the Project Website and Stationary Mockups to keep similarity and consistency in the display of all the Startup Projects needed for the portfolio section of the site.

You will also need to use the layout and framework of the Business Profile provided in .docx (Word Document) format to present your own customized version that will be used to compile and provided to the customer once the development is finalized.

DOWNLOAD TEMPLATES

Stock Photos & Images

Each Project requires some images and photos to be incorporated into Brand and Marketing Designs.

Should the client not be able to provide any original images or photos needed for your designs – head on to www.shutterstock.com and search for the ideal stock photos that will fit the design, save and use the sample image with the shutterstock watermark. (Save the stock photo with its original shutterstock number.

Each Project allows for 5 purchased stock photos to be downloaded. You may also save other suggested non-purchased sample stock photos on the Google Drive before it is purchased.

Once the client approved the the design Launch Your Startup will purchase the stock photos that will need to be re-incorporated into the original designs.

Communication Ticket System

We make use of a Communication Ticket System that is accessible from within each project. The ticket system allows for tracking the communication between the client and developers securely.

With every new project a dedicated ticket is created for each developer so that the client can address a specific developer.

You and the client will also be able to upload a wide variety of file types to a specific ticket conversation as desired.

Keep all conversations professional, short and to the point to prevent the customer to abuse the ticket system to engage into premature sample delivery.

Once a ticket has been submitted, you will receive an email notification. You can either reply to the message or go to the online ticket from within the project.

To find the ticketes related to you simply do a search with your name.

Email Setup & Communication

Once you join the Launch Your Startup Development Team you will be issued with your own Email Account that you will need to setup and use for the Development purposes only.

Use the email setup instructions sent to you by email.

No email communication is allowed between Developer and Client and for that purpose you need to use the Project Ticket System.

WhatsApp Project Group

At the start of a Project, a dedicated WhatsApp Project Group will be created with only the Developers assigned to the group.

This allows for quick and effective correspondence between Developers. Please make sure you read through all correspondence that comes through on the group.

Developers are not allowed to send any messages to each other outside the group.

WhatsApp group messages can be muted for those that do not wish to be disturbed after hours.

Project Deadlines

It is eminent that Developers adhere to deadline as it is the biggest USP (Unique Selling Proposition) of Launch Your Startup.

Note that you may finish or deliver your work any time earlier than the expected deadline and possibly start with a next project should it be the case.

Final Project Item Uploads

Each project’s original and final designs, documents and forms will be delivered within a Google Docs Folder created within the New Startup’s Google Account.

The Main Document Folder will be shared with all the Developers once it is created. You will therefore need to provide your Google Account Name for this purpose.

All sample designs will be shared on the project page by uploading the images or documents using the document uploads button at the bottom of the relevant phase.

You can use the Comment section underneath the Upload Button to provide any explanations.
